Reach Swim: Upper Spine Forward Extension

Basic Pattern

If you were to reach up in front of you with your right arm, the spine in your spine at the level of your shoulders would turn to the left and side-bend to the left relative to your pelvis. This is the ‘normal’ spinal extension pattern, which really means it is the walking pattern as opposed to a side-to-side or balancing pattern. Try it out, and if it is easy add the neck.
